Eddie's robins win xmas head!!

After 2 grueling days of racing in Fairbairns, Eddie’s women took on their toughest challenge yet, a brisk paddle down the Cam, the day after BCD… After a chaotic meet, where the crew had to navigate around multiple boats just to out of the boathouse, and a speedy paddle to the marshaling point, the Christmas robins were ready to spread their wings for a final time this Michaelmas term. After coming up with a race plan as the crew were pushing off, the Robins took off down the Cam, chased by a men's 8+ full of Batmen. A cheeky spar saw the Batmen overtake the Robins at the Tesco footbridge, yet despite having to make way, the girls still pulled a fantastic time of 0:07:33.9 over the 1.8km course, winning the college women’s 8+ category. A casual race, but another great result in the bag for the strong women’s team.
