The boat club is at the hub of college life and each year we recruit, not only enthusiastic novices eager to learn new skills, but also experienced seniors from all around the globe who come willing to share their expertise and develop their rowing/coxing further.
Supported by dedicated coaches and a determined committee, every member of the club receives the best possible experience of college rowing that can be provided.
Our crews consistently perform well on (and off!) the river, placing in races year-after-year!
Being a close knit community and spending a lot of time together, Eddie's boat club is the perfect club for making life-long friends who are there for you not only on the water, but also in taking on Cambridge life.

At Eddie's we try to maintain a healthy balance between training hard, so that we can be competitive, whilst keeping it a manageable work load for as many students as possible, and importantly keeping it fun! The more you throw yourself into rowing at Eddie's, the more you will get out of it!
We expect our rowers to train hard so that they can be the best they can be, but we also understand that mental health, well-being & academic studies come first. If any issues arise, please communicate with us and we will try our very best to help you and keep you on the water!
